My favourite show today was fashion stalwarts, Zimmerman with their “Hard Luck LA” Spring Summer collection.
As Nicky Zimmerman told news.com.au, this collection was all about bold prints and colour, which is a breath of fresh air amongst this season's sea of greys and blacks.
Like so many collections we’ve seen this week hemlines were short, short, short!
They also presented a sharper, more voluminous silhouette than last year, while still retaining the feminine edge that Zimmerman are known for.
But the real joy came from their exciting use of texture. Sequins, embroidery and an impressive array of fabrics were used to great effect.
A young, hip and totally wearable collection, look out for Zimmerman’s line in stores soon.
