What are lemmings, I hear you ask? A lemming is a longed-for piece or product that rises from reading a passionate post (usually on a fashion/beauty forum/website) about a new-fangled marvellous item that someone has sampled or purchased. Overwhelmed by desire, readers follow like lemmings jumping off a cliff. The word has saturated Vogue Australia Forums and in this post, is used to launch my commentary on what I want for winter.
Obviously my complete list is endless, especially since the recent cold weather has compelled me to look out for pieces for the winter fashion season. But here are the things that come to mind right now:
I think this is a mens' jacket but I love it anyway - the checked pattern is so nice!
The epitome of winter, I am LOVING this weekender bag this season, but at US$400, I can only wish!
Although they're part of a spring/summer collection, I LOVE this boot for winter. The contrasting colours are interesting and it's beautifully handcrafted.
I don't have a picture of any, but I really really really want silver leather cowboy boots to wear with tights, as I'm feeling bold and experimental this winter. Anyone know where I can get some by any chance??
I also want a pair of cute snow boots for rainy days - I'm not going to let this gloomy weather cramp my style!
