Reflections on Princess Mary

Mary Elizabeth Donaldson, The Crown Princess of Denmark leads a life that now reads like nearly every young girls fairytale. A wardrobe fantasy with title included , the demure Mary was born in Tasmania Australia on February 5th 1972 and has since gone on to wed her prince charming, dubbed heir to the Danish throne Frederik.

Meet the In-Laws

There seemingly clandestine meeting came at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney. 4 years later in May 2004 the pair took their marriage vows within the walls of the ethereal Copenhagen Cathedral. From Wikipedia.com:

“ Mary wore a wedding gown designed by Danish designer Uffe Frank and had a small bridal party which included her two sisters and her friend Amber Petty, a radio announcer on commercial radio in Australia. Frederik was supported by his brother Prince Joachim. Three of Mary's nieces, Erin and Kate Stephens and Madisson Woods, were flower girls…The couple reportedly spent their honeymoon in Africa. The monograms of Crown Prince Frederik, Crown Princess Mary, Frederik's and Mary's combined monogram and Prince Christian's are all designed by Queen Margrethe.”

The royal duties continue

Ever since Mary has taken the cover of gossip magazines becoming an Australian and European fashion celebrity. Seldom in one place to long, home is officially” The Chancellery House, an early 18th-century house within Fredensborg Palace, 40 km (25 miles) north of Copenhagen”

The Wedding Spin

Her discreet and feminine, often elegant look subtly catches the eye with graceful movement. The former Miss Donaldson is seldom seen in distress and seems to carry her title with poise; her charity work takes up much of her time.

The new definition of class: looking as poised and confident in combat gear as you do in your wedding dress. It's no wonder she became a princess!

she looks so fake princess mary.

what does she think someone elses money and crown give her class?

in pic above she looks like low class to me ha ha.

I'd be happy to see her divorsed.

hey head for threads read below:

the real truth is that mary was promoted to put shit *********, because aussie women are so l o o s e.

real class, no way, she was brought up living in a house with smelly louges, renting around, 'making love' in houses she was selling, until finally she met someone who she can scab money from.

my friend, there is much to real class, she is nothing but a fake using someone elses money.

hey i reckon she's got class!
i've seen better, no doubt, in princess diana and many others, but for an aussie she's doing well
in aus no one knows a thing about class and etiquette. peoples manners here are astonishing! It's extraordinary that she can find that flexibility with such a growing-up, though i must say tasmania is a lot more stylish than other aussie states

she seems like a nice lady, i mean, how can you judge someone if you don't know anything about them? I wish Princess Diana was alive though. Such a beautiful princess though she did divorce the guy and she and Queen Elizabeth did not seem to hit it off well. Poor poor Princess Diana. And I don't think the Prince of Denmark would have been stupid when he chose his princess, I mean they did date for four years.

OUR Princess Mary is a delight.
She is INTELLLIGENT, elegant, beautiful, happy, stunning and her poise is amazing.
Get over all your jealousies and be proud of the perfect lady who has had no scandle whatsoever. Is it because Frederik and her are happy that you don't like? I do feel pity for all of you who can't see the forrest for the trees!
Give credit where credit is due, she is the DANISH PRINCESS. Dianna was a loose target and had no class and should never have married into that family at all. They are the one's that brought about her demise. She was never a happy young woman in that household.

I am English living in Denmark, some of those comments above are absolute rubbish. Mary is a hardworking mother, wife and a credit to the Danish monarchy. She works hard in her own right with various charities. She is lovely and don't you forget it.

Congratulatons to all the nasty scumbags who wrote nasty things about mary

A) not alll australian women are loose. there are about 11 million of them, so i doubt you know many

B) it's easy to hide behind the name "annon", if you are going to criticise have the courtesy to put your name on the coment

Her parents were emigrants from Scotland so it's entirely possible her upbringing was more Scottish-style than Australian, not to mention her father was a professor so she comes from the intelligentsia, not as "common" as someone whose father was a blue collar worker! She seems to have done well in denmark - good for her!
