Style Icons - Margherita Missoni

One of my friends and I were chatting about which celebs we would consider our style icons, which stars we see in magazines and think, yep they’ve got it spot on.
For me, style icons are not necessarily someone I want to (or do) dress like, but they're someone I think has perfected their own individual style that says something meaningful about their personality. Over the next week, I'm going to profile my top 5 style icons and it is for the above reason you will not see Nicole Richie, Li-Lo, Mischa Barton or any other of Rachel Zoe's fash-pack clones in my list. But I'll bitch more about them later!
Which brings me to my first style icon: Margherita Missoni.
This girl has it all. Heir to top Italian fashion house, killer looks, all the designer clothes she could ever want and kick-arse style. Sure, she wears a lot of Missoni (for obvious reasons…) but she wears it well. With Missoni’s trade mark bright prints mixed with her own inventive and care-free style, Margherita never fades into the background. She's very cutting edge, often seen in the most daring of trends (high waists, futuristic metallics, bubble dresses), but she does it with effortless charm and manages to pull it off almost every time! Add to that her beautiful long dark hair and cute-as-a-button smile, and you can see that this girl has got in going on!
