Street Chic - Seymour Centre

November 16th 2006 12:07
My friend invited me to the JMC Academy Awards tonight at Seymour Centre, Chippendale. The night was a big success, with the work of students in music business management, digital film and television production, popular music and performance, digital media and 3D animation, and audio engineering and sound production being showcased and acknowledged. My favourite act was a musical interlude by King Tebbutt & Whistler, an indie trio with finely tuned vocals and stimulating acoustic melodies. Jesse Whistler (vocals) looked amazing when I caught her after the show:

- black band t-shirt (furcurve)
- black sheer stockings under skirt
- big black camera in her right hand
- big hair, suited her perfectly
- vintage peeptoes (from Refreds in Newtown)

I'm listening to King Tebbutt & Whistler on their website now... it's music I imagine myself listening to while cruising on a highway with a pair of sunnies on.

Or maybe when I'm in a dramatic movie like moment.

I wish I was there!

Sisi,

Love the outfit, especially the skirt, it suits its wearer admirably.

When girls wear second-hand clothes, and throw together an outfit that looks like Buddha himself carved it from ivory, the world is a perfect place.
