Spotted this gorgeous sales assistant at the Kirrily Johnston sale (at their studio):
- dark brown hair in a high-ish pony, draped over her right shoulder
- ball drop earrings
- black Kirrily Johnston dress from spring summer 06-07
- black tights
- gold Prada boxing boots
- khaki Helmut Lang bag (belongs to Kirrily)
I nearly died when I saw her shoes - amazing.
She looked awesome...very elegant, and trendy but far from a trend whore!

However I do want to know where she found the black tights as there is literally a DROUGHT of decent black tights in the shops in my area ... like one shop assistant actually tried to flog tights covered with lint to me! and Tagert and K-mart only had 3/4 length tightsin anorexic sizes!
The basics like good black tights never go out of style!
Tell us about items like that and dont show us photos of skinny sales assistants or ugh gold boots!
and yes I am a size 14 !!!

Also, I'm not claiming that the gold Prada boxing boots are a must-have for everyone, but they're most DEFINITELY a must-have for me! All I need now is the money for them...
As for black tights, I get mine from Country Road as I find them to be of excellent quality - they are labelled "one size fits all", which I feel is slightly deceiving as they couldn't possibly fit absolutely everyone. Perhaps "one size fits most" would be more appropriate, but they do fit me (I'm a size 8 and happen to think I have a pretty normal body). Unfortunately, I can't accurately say whether they're suitable for a size 14 woman or not, but I will do some research for you and post back here when I find out.
Lastly, I would like to note that it's clear that we have differing fashion preferences, but I hope that you can appreciate that fashion is so very personal and is bound to trigger different emotions/opinions in different people. I also hope that you will continue to visit Fashion.org.au and also keep commenting - I'm truly grateful for your presence!
