Street Chic - Bicentennial Park, Homebush Bay
January 2nd 2007 03:30
My family friend looked smexual on Christmas Day. She has a great girly style but with a bit of funk and spunk thrown in as well:
- rhinestone studded bow brooch from Hong Kong pinned onto right lapel of
- white Valleygirl frayed trim button-up sleeveless shirt tucked into
- black Supre high-rise pencil pinafore that looks like a mini with transferable straps
- black Supre patent-look large buckle belt around her waist
- black Supre footless tights with lace trim
- pale gold Shoobiz flat dress sandals with multiple strap detailing around the toe and ankle
- hair pulled up in a pony with a bit of a quiff and a gold/multicoloured zig-zag headband from a Korean boutique in Strathfield sitting behind her fringe
After the above photos were taken, we decided to play a game of soccer (that ended up lasting for 4 hours!!) with the 5 other families we were picnicking with, so Mimi changed into a pair of bronze limited edition Hello Kitty sneakers that she bought in Hong Kong:
I love the way she dresses - this outfit is very Hong Kong, yet she bought most of the pieces here in Australia. I must've looked like such a tomboy next to her put-together, girly-girl outfit!

Loved the pale gold on the shoes and the lacey edges on the tights.
I'm sure you looked just great, too. The family/friends activities sound just the way to go!
