Croatian supermodel Nina Moric started a sensation when her startling beauty was highlighted in the 1999 Ricky Martin video clip for “Livin' La Vida Loca." Already an established face of fashion prior, the notice she received for the appearance opened doors to a possible career in Hollywood.

Unfortunately for Nina interest from Jim Carrey to have her co star in The Mask fell through. Ever since eager fans have anticipated her debut on the big screen, which to date has not eventuated.

Born in 1976 into a financially comfortable environment, her parents a doctor and economist made sure she received a quality education. Harbouring ambitions to become a lawyer she had the intelligence and credentials to follow her dreams.
The body exposed
In her early teens she acknowledged her natural attributes and soon she was crowned Miss Croatia. That was all the encouragement needed to pursue a place in the lucrative fashion world.
In 1996 she came second in the Elite Modelling Agency “Look of the Year” competition and a two year contract with one of the countries top agencies immediately followed. No dummy, at the same time as she was working for some of the top fashion houses she continued studying law.
The Face
Two years later she won the “Look of the year” and any doubts about choice of profession were allayed when she signed a two year contract with L.A Models.
Working for the likes of Versace, Les Coppians and Erreuno led to the audition that cemented her place in modern pop culture lore. Ambitious and driven Nina decided to chase the music industry rainbow of pop starlet and recorded a single “Star”, which failed.
Say Cheese
Amongst other highlights, being a recognized celebrity she also dabbled in television while continuing to advertise an array of accessories. Now at 30 years old she remains one of the worlds most desirable women and is refusing to surrender her ambitions to rise as an actress, singer and model.
Here’s hoping that producers recognize her drive and visual splendour to cast her on a 100 foot screen.
