Lee Jeans The L Series

May 11th 2006 12:46
Today I logged onto the Lee Jeans website and saw the new styles of guys' jeans, in a collection called "The L Series":

New Lee L Series Jeans

I'm absolutely in love with them - boys, please go out and buy a pair! There are 5 styles to choose from, surely one of them will look great on you.

L7 Lo & Skinny

Low slung jean, relaxed around the thigh with a narrow fit through the lower leg. Mannnnn these are awesome - I love them!!

L6 Lo & Loose

Very loose fitting, straight leg jean. Sits low on the hips. Low and loose = make sure you wear them with a belt!

L3 Lo Bootcut

The ultimate rock 'n' roll bootcut, a great slim fit that tapers at the knee and extends slightly at the foot. These seem to make the legs look pretty thin, so if you're after that effect, these would be the pair!

L1 Stovepipe

Very tight fitting jean, narrow from the hip with just enough stretch in the denim for a punk rock fit. These are very 80's, and I love the 80's!!!

L2 Lo Slim

A low rise, straight leg slim fit. I love slim fits on guys, regardless of how "uncool" they may be to the general male population!!!

Lee jeans are stocked in various stores including General Pants, Maple on King St (Newtown), urban stores, etc. I've contacted them for more names of stockists and also pricing, so I'll let you know when they respond.

hurray!

Now those silly trendy wannabes who have been wearing all-too-effeminate stovepipe tight jeans can do a bit more of a masculine version!

You have saved the human race, Sisi (though perhaps some credit should go to Lee) - boys in stovepipe tight jeans are the REASON we have NEGATIVE BIRTH RATE in this country! =P

Ahahahaha I've been told stovepipe jeans are actually quite comfortable on guys...which is believable since they're not vacuum-suction-tight like girls' skinnies.

Cibby, General Pants Pitt St Mall (all General Pants Stores) stock these. Also a store called SP1 (Super Position 1) which is in the Galleries Victoria in George St (opposite the Queen Victoria Bldg), SP2 at Haymarket and SP3 at World Square. The prices vary, depending on the jean - ranging from $139.95. Hope that helps!

ball splitters...looking like a Marty McFly stunt double - the 80s was one of the ugliest times of fashion - let it go...should get some Punky Brewster shoes...

Hey people, recently i just got a pair of lee jeans, the lo slim ones, they're selling like hotcakes here at Melbourne, but the Lee Jeans flagshop at Chapel still carry them.

The Lo Slim series, there's an extra coating of colour over it, it would eventually fade off as you wear it, i was told by the sales girl that it would mould onto you just like nudie jeans would, but i highly doubt that, have been wearing them for a week straight and it doesnt hold on as compared to nudies, it would be a real beauty if it would to mould and fade.

To both Anons, thanks for your comments! Lees definitely do not compare to Nudies in terms of quality, but they are significantly cheaper so I guess that shouldn't be too surprising.

Grandsert, whereabouts are you? You can get ksubis from the ksubi stores in Paddington and Bondi in Sydney, as well as General Pants, or if you're not in Sydney, My Catwalk and Fat sell them too.
