K-Moss to launch fashion range
April 26th 2007 06:39
It seems fashion's bad girl is sick of having her style copied without reaping the rewards.
Model and world-wide style icon, Kate Moss will launch her own label for UK chain store Top Shop on the first of May.
The deal is supposedly worth THREE MILLION POUNDS, which must be a relief for Moss who is no doubt a little short on cash (we all know she has expensive habits...).
Moss has been criticised for copying items from her own wardrobe, rather than coming up with her own pieces.
She has been quoted as saying "I can't sketch and I can't make clothes", which makes you wonder, what part of "fashion design" she has actually attempted.
Still, the collection is relatively Moss-esque, and no worse than any other high fashion/chain store hybrid. I particularly like the striped skinny-leg suit and the structured cocktail dresses.
Australian buyers can get their hands on their own piece of Moss through Top Shop's online shopping facility.
Check out the collection here.
