More Mouret
July 5th 2007 08:28
Only a few posts ago I was bemoaning the lack Roland Mouret in my life after that galaxy dress (worn rather well by Demi Moore). But Style.com has informedme that he has returned, view their article here.
And here's my favourites of the aforementioned collection.
Number 1.
Believe it or not someone has reinvented the coat dress. This cut is a new version of volume, the texture, shape and buttons are a symbiotic sartorial success. (Alliteration anyone?)
Number 2.
This is an ideal cocktail party number, drink only white wine and eat only hummus and you'll be just fine.
Number 3.
Yes this is an LBD but the hem is a conservation starter, the fabric is exquisite and the cut sufficiently avaunt guarde to travel from an art opening to an intimate dinner at your favourite hole-in-the-wall bistro with ease.
Number 4.
And finally does this remind anyone else of some vernacular fashion from, you guessed it, Balenciaga, but nevertheless it is stylish and I might attempt larceny were I to see some young thing traipsing about the streets in this ensemble.
