Top Fashion Picks for Boys

May 26th 2006 14:41
Owing to my recent realisation of the disproportionate ratio of relevant material for guys:girls in this blog, I thought I should talk about what I wish boys were wearing.

Jared Padalecki (from supernaturalcentral)

This outfit is HOT TO GO - I like the shipshape shirt together with the damaged/distressed look jeans and the simple yet stylish black wristband and watch/cuff. Yes I do realise that I've mentioned every part of his outfit...all I can say to defend myself is that I love it.

What do you guys think about these? I bet they'd look very cute on a Dior Homme man (or any man for that matter!). They may not be conventionally hot or appealing but they couldn't be sexier in my eyes.

This is such a cute top. I'm a huge fan of his style - flannies, cardies, stripes, Doc Martens, layers, hobo cool - it looks like a lot of his wardrobe basics are becoming fashionable again, as grunge is meant to be a major look for men this season. This will be good news for those of you boys who don't like chic, stylish clothing.

I just want to say that I love the mens' blazers in this line Any guy who wears this blazer is a hot dresser to the max!!

Stan my mates are like that too, they're pretty much incapable of dressing up...but they still manage to look good so if you love that potato sack, flaunt it baby!

There is no excuse for distressed denim jeans. If you are dressing up, dress up! The sixties Mod/Skinhead look from the UK is always the smartest look. Button down Ben Sherman shirts, Fred Perrys, Tight red tag levis, Italian 3 button mohair suits, harrington jackets, skinny ties, 10 hole doc martens or brogues. Blokes can never go wrong with the look - it's all about clean living under difficult circumstances. Not dirty distressed living under prosperous circumstances!

Glen I'm absolutely addicted to distressed black on guys, but I will concede that you make a good point. The sixties mod look is so good...I can't get enough of it! Snaps for the comment in general, you really sound like you know your stuff

I'm not a fan of that dirty look.... when I'm dirty, I get REAL dirty!

yes, we must be opposites. I guess we'll have to fight to the death, then. The winner gets to rule the world.

Don't really like the idea of fighting to the death at all...I'll put on the battle gear and look cute though
