Wearing a costume of vulnerable innocence
Starting life as a dowdy innocent on The Mickey Mouse club, Christina Aguilera has matured into a borderline fashion disaster with a look that ranges from mindless bimbo to skanky hose beast.
A pop, R N B singer who started life as a blonde, she often goes for the Jayne Mansfield, Marilyn Monroe type fashion. Through strained vocals and sweat dripping music videos she has attempted to reinvent herself numerous times.
A change of hair colour is as good as a personality transplant
Tired of her squeaky clean image, she made the decision that a superficial change is as good as a journey of self discovery. Deciding brunettes have more fun she opted for the “Dirty”, street walking image generating endless publicity and shallow conversations about her appearance.
Tacky and desperate for attention outfits like the one below have meant that she is taken less seriously as a performer and more prominent in gossip magazines.
Done up for bondage, or is that just what she is wearing to the Playboy Mansion?
Here is a shot of her on the cover of Rolling Stone doing her best Betty Gable impersonation with a look that had WWII fighter pilots hot and bothered in the late 30’s.

Borrowing from Carmen Miranda here is Christina as showgirl, not the sort of thing to wear when picking the kids up after school.

Exuding a mermaid type vibe in this broken down chair, the dress sits well and hints at rather than advertises her strong dancers gams.
I dont know what the washing instructions are, but Im sure this dress will shrink in water.
Who knows what’s next for the self conscious singer, one thing is for sure the more radical and revealing the more the press will love to hate her.
