Agyness Deyn: champion of Pixie-Glam
July 2nd 2007 02:50
Let's have a little look at my fave model of the minute, Brittish sensation Agyness Deyn.
You've probably seen her in any of last season's shows, with her cropped bleached hair, she's hard to miss.
Born Laura Hollins near Manchester, England, 21-year old Deyn is well on her way to become a full-blown It-girl.
Apart from her distinct and quirky looks, she also has an effortless, rock-inspired look (ala Kate Moss) that continues to keep her in the best dressed pages.
According to last month's Vogue, she also started a trend among models during last season's European shows of customising Converse sneakers with felt pens. Oh Agyness, you crazy cat!
What else do you need to know about this ridiculously cool gal? She's 5ft 8in, very skinny and has very little hair, which as a fellow cropped blonde, I'm all for! She walked for everyone who's anyone at the latest round of shows including Stella McCartney, Christian Dior, Jean Paul Gaultier and Versace, and has appeared on the cover of at least 2 US Vogues.
So go out, chop your hair off, get your hands on some peroxide and feel the Deyn-love.
Or not. That's fine too.

PS Kate Moss is the ultimate for me, Agyness has an awesomely unique look but Kate Moss is just so beautiful and is an absolute blank canvas - she can be turned into anything

Agyness is going to be so much bigger than Kate ever has been and ever will be, lets face it, Kate's not getting any younger...
